Photographer Paul Colley is passionate about preserving the traditions of the American West and the Cowboy Culture in ways different, even unique, from most western photographers. Few have the opportunity to witness the actual working ranch cowboy or wander the plains of west Texas. Fewer still, get to see the back country of rugged mountain peaks, vast ranches on the grassy plains or rough canyon draws. All very much alive and well in the still wild-west of America. Paul has been blessed with opportunities to have witnessed extraordinary places. He has participated in, as well as observed, cowboy and cowgirls striving to keep those traditions alive.

While other photographers may stage their final works, Paul has chosen to capture the essence of the moment in “real time”, (sometimes from the saddle of a horse). His goal is to share with you his experience as it happens. REAL LIFE in sometimes vivid colors and unique settings.
